Auction Shipping and Handling: Belhorn Auction Services, LLC is pleased to offer shipping on all items offered in our auctions through Pak Mail.  In addition to professional packing and shipping services and fast turn-around, we have negotiated a special 15% discount for our customers off of their standard rates.

Once the initial invoice for your purchase is processed (hammer price + buyer's premium + applicable sales tax), we will take your items to Pak Mail on your behalf and free of charge with your contact information.  It is your responsibility to contact Pak Mail directly and make shipping arrangements, including payment, with them.  We will notify you when your items have been delivered to Pak Mail, which is typically within three to five business days of the auction.  It is important to note that items left at Pak Mail will be subject to a storage fee if shipping is not arranged within ten (10) business days of delivery to them.

Pick-up (By Request): For orders large and small pick up at our Columbus area offices is available at a mutually agreed upon time.  While we will try to accomodate all requests, we kindly ask for at least 48 hours' notice to improve the chances one of our our staff members can be available to meet you in person. 

Shipping Items to Belhorn Auction Services: For smaller collections or individual pieces we recommend shipping your items directly to us. If you are unfamiliar with packing pottery for shipment we recommend enlisting the help of a local UPS Store, Pak Mail or similar store to ensure items arrive safely. Please follow this check list:

1) Contacted Belhorn regarding shipping and received confirmation that we are expecting your items. We do not accept unsolicited consignments.

2) Each box is clearly marked with your name.

3) All items are wrapped in bubble wrap. We recommend double boxing all items with ample packing materials and purchasing adequate insurance to cover loss or breakage.
